Cynthia was born in Dallas and raised in Houston. She has been with Dr. Ragsdale since 2002. Before trying her hand in dentistry, she had been in the medical field for 15 years. Cynthia lives in Spring with her daughter Whitney. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, snorkeling, reading, swimming, writing short stories, decorating interiors and spoiling her granddaughter

Jeflyn was born and raised in Conroe. She has been with Dr. Ragsdale since October of 2004 and has been in the dental field for 24 years. She attended North Harris Community College and Sam Houston State University. Jeflyn has four children, Jarrod, Jeff, Jayci and Kayla and four grandchildren- Lauryn, Jenna, Chandler and Makenli. She lives in The Woodlands with her husband Mike and daughter, Kayla. Jeflyn also works as a personal trainer at her church. She enjoys weight lifting and outdoor sports.

 Hygienists

Two full-time registered hygienists are available to help with your children's periodic dental care visits. All of our dental hygienists are licensed by the state of Texas and maintain compliance with the rules and regulations of the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. Our hygienists have completed a two-year intensive training program offered within our state. They have completed special training in sealant application and have been awarded special certification to be able to perform this procedure. Each of our hygienists completes 12 hours of continuing education yearly, as required to maintain their license. In addition, our hygienists have had years of experience working in pediatric dental practices, so they are extremely qualified to help take care of our patients' dental care needs.

Beth Ann Nichols was born in Dublin, Texas and has been with Dr. Ragsdale from Day 1... 23 years! She received her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Wharton County Junior College. She has been in the dental field as a hygienist for almost 30 years but found that pediatric dentistry was her true "niche!" She and her husband, Anthony, live in Conroe where they have three horses and three dogs. They have six children – Jimmy, Allison, Bruce, Ashley, Alicia and Kristen, and three grandchildren. Their love for children and animals has them involved in volunteering for the Montgomery County Fair Association. Beth Ann loves to hunt, fish and spend time with her expanding family!

Amy has been married to her husband, Brian, for ten years and they have two children, Nevaeh and Manny. Amy and Brian also have two dogs – Charlie (a boxer) and Buda (a poodle). Amy and Brian have recently moved to the Houston area from Austin and reside in Spring.

Nancy Copley
Certified Dental Assistant

Nancy was born and raised in the Conroe area. She has been in dentistry for over 25 years. She has worked with Dr. Ragsdale for 15 years. She earned her national Certificate of Dental Assisting and became a Texas Registered Dental Assistant in 1993. Samantha. She enjoys cross-stitch, Nancy lives in Shepherd with her husband, Robert, and their daughter, stamping and spending time with her family.

 

Kim McShan
Registered Dental Assistant

Kim was born and raised in Cleveland, Texas. She has been in dentistry for more than 15 years and joined Dr. Ragsdale’s team in 2008. Kim lives in Shephard with her husband, Kevin, and their two children, Klint and Keri. Kim enjoys spending time with her family.

Andrea is from North Carolina and has been working as a registered dental assistant since 2006. Andrea joined Dr. Ragsdale’s team in April of 2007 as a hygiene assistant. Andrea has been married for seventeen years to her husband Brett and has three sons, Brett Jr., Brandon, Breshod and a dog named Cowboy. Andrea enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, working out, gardening and learning new things.
